Inbound routes

NiteWtch assigns each route a unique alert address (alert-{your org id}-0001, 0002, … at your regional domain). That address picks the profile and creates an alert source—use Alert Sources to choose who gets called.

Steps

• Create a route and assign the profile that matches that email format.
• Copy the assigned full address into your monitoring tool.
• Open Alert Sources to set on-call groups for the linked source.

Common mistakes

• Confusing tenant public ID with the route local part.
• Creating a route without assigning a published profile.
